What Does Love Mean?

During this brief I investigated the powerful connection between two individuals and the bond they have. My main focus within this brief was the Eastern Culture belief of the Red Thread Of Fate. This is the idea that two people who are destined to meet each other are connected by a red thread which is invisible to the human eye. The thread never disappears and remains constantly tied to them throughout their whole lives. It can not be broken and can handle any tie or knot. Time and distance can not break this bond. I created this piece using black and red fine liners using the technique of pointillism.
